Representing the interests of an IT-company in a precedent-setting dispute related to recognition of cookie staffing as a form of unfair competition

While defending the interests of an IT company in an antitrust dispute, the lawyers of the firm proved that cookie staffing (a hidden replacement of user cookies to obtain unjustified advantages when testing product recommendation systems) was a form of unfair competition. The court decision formed a precedent for future resolution of similar disputes and is of fundamental importance not only for the Client for cooperation with other competitors, but also for the entire IT industry. The monetary assessment of the risks prevented as an outcome of the court decision amounted to more than 120,000,000 rubles.
