Development of a draft of the Government Decree on remote sale of medicines
To liberalise the rules for the sale of over-the-counter medicines, the lawyers of the firm have drafted a regulatory act allowing pharmacy organisations to sell medicines remotely via e-platforms owned by product information aggregators.
The aim of the changes was to broaden the market offerings for remote medicines sold online and to increase the availability of such medicines to the consumer.
As a result, the draft decree successfully passed the regulatory impact assessment, and on 31.05.2021 the Government Decree No. 827 "On Amendments to the Rules for Issuing Permits to Conduct Retail Trade in Medicinal Products for Medical Use by Distance Selling and Delivery of Such Products to Citizens" was adopted.
