Students of the HSE Faculty of Law won the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot defeating the Cambridge team in the final. The Willem c. Vis international commercial arbitration moot is held annually since 1993 and represents model proceedings in an international commercial arbitration court. The case fabula always touches upon disputes arising out of sale and purchase agreements between two countries that are party to the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Moot founders - the united nations commission on international trade law, the austrian chamber of commerce, a number of international arbitration institutions and universities from various countries. The team's coaches explained why the success of the Russian University turned out to be natural, and the winners told about tempting proposals from employers.
