Participants of the online commerce market are asking Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin through industry associations to intervene in the situation around two bills submitted to the State Duma that involve out-of-court blocking of sites, selling uncertified products. Business insists that the consequences of such regulations would be catastrophic for e-commerce. The authors of the draft projects consider the concern exaggerated, noting that strict regulation will affect only certain categories, such as dietary supplements. However, lawyers still consider it unacceptable from a legal point of view.
