No Collective Claims and Millions of Rubles: How Much Victims of Subway Accident Receive

Experts of Pravo.ru note that the institute of class actions is poorly developed in Russia. As they put it, this is due to a set of reasons: from the lack of qualification of judges to the lack of any clear legislative regulation of this institution. The accident in the Moscow Metro of three years ago and the victims who asked for millions of rubles in compensation for their moral damage, again reminded the legal community of the pressing problem of class actions. This was also commented by Mikhail Abrosimov, the firm’s counsel.
