The copyright holders of Angry Birds and Peppa Pig have filed lawsuits against the forensic expert Alexander Kostin, who evaluates the damage to brands from counterfeit goods. The unprecedented lawsuits are related to the fact that Mr. Kostin described legal disputes in his Facebook* and VKontakte groups using images of pigs and birds in the promotion of his services. The expert himself sees the claims as an attempt to exclude him from legal proceedings with the copyright holders.
